Katrina Kaif and Dabangg Khan In Iraq for Upcoming Movie “Ek Tha Tiger” and Her controversies
Salman Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger will be shot in Iraq. This is the first Bollywood movie to have access to the country for filming
For starters, Salman Khan and (some say) ex-flame Katrina Kaif are doing a Yash Raj Film titled Ek Tha Tiger. The film has multiple highlights. First, it features Salman and Katrina together. Second, it is a Yash Raj Film with Salman, not Shah rukh Khan. The third highlight is its recent filming in Iraq, which has never been done before probably due to strict security for obvious reasons.
Surprisingly, the Iraqi government has granted permission and has also assured security of the entire team. The team will also reportedly have access to a helicopter to commute to nearby shooting locations.
Sources also say that Salman Khan is quite excited to shoot in Iraq. Director Kabir Khan will visit Iraq and finalize the locations and once again re-visit in August with his male lead.
Sounds like this film is going to be a grand something!!!
Katrina Kaif first garnered controversy while shooting for Vipul Shah directed Namastey London (2007) in a mini-skirt. The crew and cast, including Katrina Kaif, shot a sequence for the movie inside the holy shrine of Moinunddin Chisti, Ajmer. The actress was wearing a short skirt and the administrators of the shrine took strong objection to the revealing outfit. Notices were issued to the producer and director. Rather than get involved in a controversy, director Vipul Shah preferred to re-shoot the entire sequence – with Katrina safely wrapped up in a long skirt.
Katrina Kaif Skirts Mini Controversies- The Sequel
Katrina Kaif raised eyebrows a second time when she cavorted around the pyramids of Egypt in a short, shocking pink mini-skirt during shooting for the movie Singh is Kingg (2008) in the conservative country. As the shooting was taking place, Egyptian police arrived and took objection to the sight of the actress’ bare legs. The matter was settled amicably and the song proved to be a super-hit.
Once again, Katrina Kaif teamed up with Akshay Kumar to play his love interest in Singh is Kinng (2008). Their on screen chemistry was easily evident. The film was a great success, not only in India but abroad as well. It was screened at the 2008 Toronto International Film festival.

Katrina played the role of Sonia, Akshay’s love interest in the movie. There are lots of twists and turns in their love story and the couple finally ties the knot towards the climax. For the song Teri Ore Katrina donned a sari, a first for her. Katrina’s costume for this song was designed by the ace designer Manish Malhotra , his first creation for Katrina.
The song Teri Ore was filmed in a location where earlier the hit song Suraj Hua Maddam featuring Shahrukh Khan and Kajol was shot.
